Education Programs Specialist with TCF Bank

Education Programs Specialist – Part-time, Wayzata-0082I
Part-time; approximately 25 hours per week
Responsible for assisting with TCF Foundation’s education initiatives including analysis, servicing, monitoring, and reporting in both primary and secondary school locations.
Maintain ongoing relationships with partner schools to promote TCF’s education initiatives.
Monitor schools’ progress in achieving objectives.
Prepare and present materials including academic evaluations, financial reports, presentations, and updates on educational activities to the partner schools, foundation, and executive leadership of TCF.
Promote and cultivate relationships with company staff, community organizations, and public figures. Network with professionals from other corporate foundations regarding education initiatives.
Promote and communicate a positive image of TCF Foundation initiatives through marketing to diverse communities with a focus on improving public education.
Attend legislative hearings with public figures and report on how issues discussed may affect TCF educational initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by Asst., General Counsel.
Bachelor’s degree
One to three years related work experience.
Able to handle multiple projects and tasks.
Able to work independently.
Must have a good aptitude with numbers.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, proficient in Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a graduate school program
Top 10% of class
Proven abilities in nonprofit or foundation administration
