Gain Teaching Experience While Getting Paid with St.Paul Public Schools

The Alternative Learning Department of Saint Paul Public Schools is looking for future educators to teach in the after school Extended Day for Learning (EDL) classes at various elementary and middle schools in the district.
EDL is an after school program designed to support students in math and reading. The days and times of program offerings vary per building. The programs are offered after school two hours per day (between 2:00 – 5:45PM) two days (M/W or T/TH) or four days (M-Th) per week. Teachers will be paid for student contact time and1/2 hour prep time at the rate of $22.00 per hour.
Accepted applicants will receive paid training in curriculum and best practice teaching strategies. Inquiries and applications are being accepted through November to start in January.
