Steady growth in our program portfolio has made these exciting positions available within the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME). OCME, a unit within the Medical School is an educational outreach component which helps develop and deliver certified activities for physicians and other healthcare professionals in alignment with the Medical School’s educational initiatives. Our services include accreditation consulting, program development, evaluation planning, registration processing, and meeting management services for a wide variety of live and online educational activities and initiatives. We currently have several openings for individuals who want to apply their skills and talents to contribute to the exciting field of continuing professional development. Our department’s mission is to serve as a change agent by helping design & deliver high quality, impactful education focused on improving the quality of patient care.
1) Education Coordinator (Requisition #185822)
This key administrative coordinator position will provide critical administrative support in alignment with the department’s mission and in compliance with the accreditation standards. This position will serve as a member of the support staff for the planning and delivery team for various educational activities.
Duties will include: project coordination; certification file compliance / data capture & reporting; administrative specialty functions / capacity building; other projects as assigned.
2) Education Specialist (PT or FT) (Full time Requisition #185814) (Part time Requisition # 185816)
We will be filling either a part-time or full-time position at this time with plans for continued growth. This position will partner with the OCME leadership to work with course directors, planning committee members, and OCME staff to convey and apply the principles of effective adult learning in compliance with the accreditation requirements. This position will serve as a project lead directing the work of planning team members to address various aspects of accreditation, course planning, delivery, and evaluation.

3) Operations Manager (Requisition #185820)
The Operations Manager serves as a key representative for OCME within the Academic Health Center, Medical School, and healthcare community.
Key duties will include: operations / accreditation compliance (policy implementation / monitoring / enforcement); performance metrics; staff management; business model / technical systems & services; budget planning / management / monitoring.
