Amanda Rondeau
What did you want to do or be when you were eight years old?
Wonder Woman

What do you love most about the work that you do?
Working toward goals with others, seeing the arc of change, and the progress in education through our work

What are your top three passions?
Student experience, empowering faculty, fairness and equal opportunity

If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
Sociolinguist

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Anywhere warm, with a beach, that I have not been. (Koh Samui comes to mind)

What’s the most unusual place you have visited?
I have a habit when I travel of taking a train or a bus until I am lost and then spending the day exploring. I started this on a trip to Boston when I was in high school and continued it in every country and large city I have visited since. I think the most unusual ended up being a  tiny town high up in the Japanese Alps, where a snow monkey stole a roasted sweet potato out of my hands. I had just purchased it from a street vendor. The monkey seemed thrilled, so there was that.
