Collaborative Online International Learning

Our college is committed to the development of intercultural awareness, both for students in the classroom and instructor development. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is one way CEHD supports instructors in developing learning experiences for students that promote intercultural awareness.

COIL courses are co-created between instructors from different locations, working across cultures and time zones to design, develop and deliver content that is student centered and collaborative. DEI created a workbook to guide instructors through the process of co-developing course modules and planning the student experience for COIL courses and modules.
