Ifttt stands for If This Then That and is pronounced as in the last part of “lift.” This is a Web app and not a device-specific application. You can use Ifttt to create and manage automated Web applications tasks. For example, I use Google Reader to access RSS feeds. In that program news items can be starred. I set up a task to copy news items from Google Reader to Evernote when I flag or star them. If this sounds a bit confusing check out their Web site do a great job explaining how it works. The service is free to use.
