iTunes Gift Codes can be redeemed to purchase apps or iTunes music and videos.

1. Tap to open either iTunes or App Store.
2. In the iTunes app, tap Music on the bottom navigation bar. If you’re using the App Store, tap Featured on the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Redeem.
4. In the resulting text box, enter your 16-digit code which begins with an “X”. (If you have an iTunes Gift Card this is printed on the back of the card).
5. When done, tap Redeem.
6. If you are not already signed in with your Apple ID (see page 6), you will be prompted to do so. Once you have successfully redeemed your iTunes Gift Card, you will see a Thank You message.
7. Each time you make a purchase, funds will be deducted from the credit (the value of the gift code) until the credit is used up.

View your available credit balance:

1. Tap to open either iTunes or App Store.
2. In the iTunes app, tap Music on the bottom navigation bar. If you’re using the App Store, tap Featured on the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap the button with your Apple ID.
4. On the resulting pop-up tap View Apple ID. You may be asked to enter your Apple ID password.
5. Your credit balance will appear above your account information.
