What did you want to do or be when you were eight years old?
I wanted to be a teacher

Educational technology, psychology, and graphic design/illustration

San Pellegrino Blood Orange

If you could have one superpower what would it be? Why?
I want to be able to quickly heal people because health is important

Bio

Sumaya Hanafi is an M.Ed. Learning Technologies student at the University of Minnesota. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Psychology with a Learning Technologies minor in May 2021. She has over three years of experience working with youth in library settings, including a maker-space. She has also been a member of the Youth Equity Community Design team, an initiative of the University of Minnesota Extension’s Center for Youth Development to address inequity in youth programs.
